The Birth Of The King
A JOURNEY INTO SOVEREIGNTY AND LEADERSHIP
Answering "the call"The Birth of the King is a co-venture between myself, Mark A. Lewis (North Okanagan-based), and Ross Tayler (Squamish-based). It is a project that will help align men (and eventually also women as “The Birth of the Queen”) with a community where each member is supported and encouraged to cultivate a path of sovereignty and integrity.
It will be a co-operative with an emphasis on leadership (particularly within) as well as being of service to family, community and to our individual purpose. As individuals get further along their paths they will be encouraged to offer the teachings they have learned, including their unique offering or practice, to others. The offerings in this project will primarily be various forms of 'rites of passage', where individuals who choose to be involved will need to be willing to let go of what no longer serves them on an emotional and psychological level, in order to make room for what will serve them. A Mentor AppearsOne of the essential aspects of a man's journey involves the appearance of a mentor or guide. Traditionally, in many tribal cultures, mentors were assigned by elders or discovered through ritual. Often they appear when the "student" is ready. In the Western world we think of Obi Wan Kenobi in Star Wars or Morpheus in the Matrix.
Both Mark and Ross are available to mentor Men on their journeys, or to help a man find his mentor. There are many out there. You cannot do this work alone!

One of our many goals as we grow this offering is that no man gets turned away due to financial restraints. One of the ways that you can support this project and the men engaged in this work is by donating. We are currently offering scholarships to men attending our virtual circles and it is our intention to offer scholarships for our one on one mentorship programs.
